Streamline Universal™ provides digital audiovisual streaming services on-site at client and in-the-field locations. The company’s flagship product is a cutting-edge video streaming platform designed to capture and encode on the fly, build streams for real-time viewing, and archive completed streams for on-demand viewing.

The innovative product is the result of Streamline Universal’s years of audiovisual industry experience combined with a vision to satisfy the demand for digital video services with a superior streaming product. Company leaders envisioned a platform that would allow clients to deploy typically complex and expensive digital video services in a simple, cost-effective, and highly functional suite. Chicago Software Solutions was chosen to develop Streamliner.

CSS understood the depth of the challenge and initiated a development path through the application of Deep Dive. In the project’s early stages, Streamliner Universal asked CSS to provide a detailed technical overview regarding the feasibility of using various components, third-party services, and hardware in the pursuit of a solution. Deep Dive provided an important analysis for outlining the potential costs, complexities, and technical approaches to developing Streamliner.

The knowledge gained in Deep Dive formed the basis for architecting and then developing the software’s core components and functionalities:
